The regional park near my home has planted 3 unused sections of the park along the river bluff into a prairie restoration/pollinator area. The planting done in June was in cooperation with and by volunteers of Friends of the Mississippi. I'll be eager to see what they've planted and what percentage of the plantings survive the first winter.
