Wow! What a Great Happy July 4h Celebration 4 a Hummer Lover! We have only seen Black-chinned Hummer Sightings so far this year w 2 Broods (lost 1 young from 1st Brood after severe thunderstorms days that never let up for 2-3 days).Missing our familar Rubies that we also usu. Have. AM Native from North Carolina w that w all we had. Very lucky 2 have 2 types w occasional sightings of other types
during Fall Migration. But on July 4th At 2:55pm I got 2 C our 1st Adult, male Ruby-throated hummingbird @ Aspects 3-port mini Highivew Feeder. Feed a long time & then chased other's away N2 tall Oak Trees.He may b traveling futher North 2 exscape this Triple Digit Heat wave we have had beginning 2nd wk. In May.
