Today I watched a female lay eggs on Common Milkweed! Monarchs are early to Long Island, NY but I do have a lot of Common MW & Butterfly Weed in bloom with Swamp seedlings everywhere. Saw a pair 7/8/18 also nectaring & landing on Butterfly weed. I have 8 Buddleia with a lot of nectar plants to attract them.
