We observed 2 adults flying about our small patch of common milkweed just before noon. One was definitely a female and we later found a few milkweed leaves with Monarch eggs on them.
After lunch we drove to a blueberry field a few kilometers away. This particular acreage has sections with large numbers of common milkweed plants that the owner leaves for the Monarchs. We saw 3 adults simultaneously flying around just above the milkweed.
