5 monarchs today in our gardens.
4 were females and 1 male. The females looked to be laying eggs on our tuberosa. They all were interested in butterfly bushes and zinnias as well. I found one egg sitting on top of a leaf but did not check over the whole tuberosa area. One of the females had part of a hind wing missing and the other hind wing was curled up on the end. She could still fly just fine.Monarch Watch Waystation #13039
