July 7, 2018 a sunny day temp. was 90 degrees winds from the South at 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. My first monarch of the year was at 2:45 PM I think it was a male I went to get my camera but it was gone when I returned. Later that afternoon I watched a female fly around the backyard from 4:45 PM to 5:30 PM not once did it land in that time frame. No photographs.
