Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)

Date: 07/13/2018

Number: 2

I usually do not find Northbound eggs/cats; the local milkweed begins growing too late in the season to sustain them. I usually begin searching for Southbound eggs/cats around August 1, but a friend texted that she had found some in the nearby town yesterday so I looked at my scant milkweed in my backyard (where I have only found an egg or two since planting 5 years ago) and found 2 eggs.
