Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 07/15/2018

Number: 1

While I find a good amount of larva in my small field of common milkweed in part/sun, I am delighted to find some larva also in my general perennial gardens. I overplanted some common milkweed within my rudbeckia, wild bergamot, nepeta, buddleia, tuberosa, viridis, and other perennials border plantings. It gets full sun so I was not convinced it would attract Monarchs. It does and I've got a nice little bunch of baby cats happily munching.
