Hello Journey North, It has been awhile. Don't have many birds, mostly some brave little house sparrows and hummingbirds. A pair of Coopers hawks have been raising a family across the street. Even the squirrels have disappeared. Have been taking in black swallowtail butterfly caterpillars just before they pupate.Managed to get 4 before they took off. There were 17 but they take off so quickly. There was 1 male and 3 females. A new group is on the fennel and dill. They are in various stages from 1 to 4.It has been a very unusual year for birding. Haworth park,Bellevues local campgrounds flooded last week, and will be shut down for the rest of the season. Also part of Fontenell forest flooded. Don't know if it's completely open.
