I should have taken a photo but didn't think of it at the time. One small caterpillar was on the common milkweed. Eight caterpillars of varying size were on the swamp milkweed. I have taken them for captive-rearing. So excited! Some are 4th and 5th instar. They'll be climbing to the top of the cage in no time.
