Unfortunately I don't have the time to report daily- Since early June I have daily been seeing 1-3 Monarchs on our property & of late 3 ALL day from 6:30am to 8:30pm. Mostly males patrolling for females.
We've as well had many females laying eggs on our Common MW.
(Photo)Had a faded tattered female a couple days ago, only nectaring on mw blossoms- no Ovipositing observed.
Everywhere in the area I go I see Monarchs. Fabulous year!
The best since 2010 when we moved here. I recall in 2013 only seeing 6 all season & Point Pelee cancelled the Monarch count.
3 males yesterday-
