NJ was hit by torrential rains yesterday and into the evening hours. I suspect my Monarchs sheltered down at the forest edge where there are mature trees.
This early morning I was delighted to find one right away drying out in the sun. The caterpillars are also slowly greeting the morning warmth. Saw a few working their way up to the dryer leaves in the combined perennial/milkweed border.
