Am seeing infestations of milkweed tussock moth larvae at two places, one of which is marked by the balloon cursor. In both cases, the larvae have defoliated half of the 3-4 plants they were on and in one place were on several milkweed plants in various areas. I killed as many as I could but like Japanese beetles they drop when alarmed. I'm thinking monarchs don't need the disappearance of milkweed.
