I found 10 caterpillars on the common milkweed at my lake house. They are all sizes. I've got a large nursery going and look forward to releasing them.
Unfortunately, one of the larvae took home the last time I was up there didn't make it. It's so sad when that happens but I'm doing my best to help the species survive. It's very encouraging to see so many monarchs and the milkweed is very plentiful this year.
