It was sad to learn about Dr. Brower this a.m. As one of the Petitioners on the Petition to Protect the Monarch Butterfly, he contributed greatly to the welfare of these amazing migratory butterflies. It should be noted that Minnesota lost Dr. Karen Oberhauser for other reasons to Wisconsin. She too dedicated her life to helping them through her research and outreach. Both are missed by at least one citizen scientist in Minnesota.
