Yesterday I found a Lesser Fritillary in my garden. It flew into the palm of my hand. I had my Butterflies of North America by Jeffrey Glassberg right beside me.I quickly looked through the photos as I held it. Saw the photo and looked down the page. Lesser Fritillary! People say one has never been seen in this area so they doubt me. Last year a Gulf Fritillary came to my garden so why not a Lesser Fritillary?
