Attached is a photo of the largest of the the larvae that I found on the shaded milkweed on the north side of my lake house.
On two of the leaves of the milkweed plants where I found eggs and caterpillars, I found a large (approximately 50) "colony/grouping" of Tussock Moth larvae. They eat the flesh of the leaves, the result being a laced leaf among the veins.
