Number: 4

Our resident monarch was here first thing in the morning, sunning himself on zinnias to dry his wings. Wings were glistening with dew. 2 other males came in at about 10:40 a:m and were feeding heavily on butterfly bushes. Our male did not seem to care. I was able to photograph all of them. They stayed for a long time seeming to be very hungry. In the afternoon 1 more male showed up but was not welcome. The male bully of the yard chased him away. Monarch Watch Waystation #13039
