We found these 2 5th instars on July 27th 2018 in west Ottawa Ontario. We brought them in as a violent thunderstorm was approaching. They were fed milkweed from our garden for 2 days before entering chrysalis stage. This morning (Aug.5th 2018) the first Monarch emerged. Will release along with 2nd Monarch once it ecloses too.
