Of the 50 eggs and new larva collected on July 17, all started in 16 oz deli containers, then graduated to 32 oz deli containers when larger and growing fast. On Aug 1, 1 larva died, exuding a green, watery liquid. 6 others reached the chrysalis stage, although 1 dropped to the floor of the deli container. I put a dry washcloth into the bottom of the contain and put the chrysalis on top of the terrycloth so that it would have some resistance when it emerged.
