Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 08/05/2018

Number: 5

Many monarchs here today. Yesterday was dreary and warm today is hot and muggy with periods of sun. The monarchs are really soaking up that nectar and dueling it out around the Joe Pye Weed. The monarchs will chase the Tiger Swallowtails around but not the Giant Swallowtails. I saw a monarch sharing the same cone flower with the much smaller sulphur. I have to keep my camera at hand when I'm out there.
