I took a quick look around for eggs and didn't find a one. There are lots of Monarchs here but I haven't seen laying activity. Maybe they're already thinking about heading South. I hope so. The milkweed in my yard and on the boulevard are looking pretty worn and have lots of those aphids on them. Maybe the milkweed isn't attractive for egg laying. Also, I've been removing leaves to feed my larvae so maybe this is a consideration for the monarch when choosing a place to lay eggs They definitely flutter from plant to plant before selecting a spot to lay their eggs.
