In the pic are a pair that flew in together (front yard)about 6:30 pm but a check of the back yard revealed a patrolling male monarch under the watchful eye of a yearling Mississippi Kite on a utility wire...when a 4th monarch, rather small, whizzed right by the kite traveling north to south nonstop. It's an amazing day to be out in the yard.
