Since first two “cats” on July 6 I have collected 33. July 18 began their emergence from the chrysalis. As of today August 6 thirteen have emerged, 9 females & 2 males. The 12th & 13th just emerged 30 minutes apart is yet to be identified. I have 6 still in chrysalis & 14 cats in containers with 7 more still on the plants outside. Since releasing the first ones we have seen 3 to 5 monarchs daily on our 3 patches of milkweed and its only August 6!
