This is the first monarch I've seen this year besides one very abnormal sighting in February. There are lots of flowers for nectoring and plenty of milkweed for eggs. In the past years I have never yet seen an egg. Sighted at 2:40 pm MDT, flying around the garden area for 10 minutes or more.
