We have been seeing Rufous hummers migrating south since July 22. At the moment we have about 6 young Rufous hanging around our several feeders who can't decide whether to chase each other or chase away the others (Black chinned; Anna's and Costa's) who have been here all summer. We had a gorgeous adult Male Rufous who stopped very briefly last week but he didn't stay. The Black chinned will be leaving soon but the Anna's and Costa's will stay all winter.
