East of Big Rapids, there is a large platform / telephone pole / nest along the side of route M20. A local resident told us the Mount Pleasant Eagle Scouts erected this platform, for the Eagle who lives in the area; as part of their Eagle Scout badge project. Fact or fiction (?) I do not know :) Nonetheless, when driving along M 20, one can look up, and often see a Bald Eagle and 3 chicks in the nest.
