I've never seen so many monarchs mating on trees, flying mating, flying by themselves all around, laying eggs on every other leaf, every day, all day! Interesting to note, we saw an orange butterfly, not moth, a foot away (no cell phone camera on hand) with a single, fine black line horizontally across it. Can't find a single reference anywhere. A new species, a rarity?(3 times I've tried to submit video of mating monarchs, but system will not allow it).
