I know that migration does not start until mid August but I'm seeing butterflies that seem to be engaging in migratory flight. This afternoon I overserved about 15 per hour moving in a south west direction along the cliffs on the north shore of Lake Erie at Clearville Park. This continued all afternoon for a duration of about 4 hours.
