I hadn't seen an egg for over a week and then I thought I'd check two newer common milkweed plants. Sure enough there amongst the horde of aphids were 5 eggs over two plants and two first instars. I thought I was done with eggs for the year but I guess not. I brought these eggs/larvae in to join 9 other larger larvae in the house.
