I saw some Monarchs where I usually see the first fall roost. I will submit a photo tomorrow of what might be considered a roosting Monarch. I did see 4 individuals showing roosting behavior tonight. Last year on August 11 I saw Monarchs circling the trees but not landing and the next night they formed a roost.
