Strange situation. Female monarch. Possibly fell after eclosing as it landed on us while we were sitting outside at a friends near a covered deck area. Maybe had emerged from a chrysalis under the deck)?). It did not seem steady...or ready to fly yet. Hung it for a second on the back of a chair and it fell then finally did fly away. Hope she made it!
