Sightings report image

Date: 08/10/2018

Number: 29

These 29 larvae hatched this morning from the eggs I reported finding on August 8th.
1st instar.

Editor's Note: The best clue that these are milkweed tussock moths is the large number larvae together on the leaf. Monarchs lay their eggs singly so it's rare to see more than one at a time. The milkweed tussock moth lays a group of eggs and all hatch together.
