At around noon today, at the Monroe Township Community garden, there were the 4-5 monarchs nectarine, and one seen laying eggs. the accompanying photo. is that lady laying!
There was also one chrysalis,hanging from a nearby fig plant leaf, and 2 caterpillars on flowering Aesclepias tuberosa, that I he'd plant in my plot.
