I sighted 3 Monarch Adult Butterflies as I was running on the W&OD Trail this afternoon. I have no photos as I was running. The butterflies were flying around the bushes along the trail. It looks like the wild honeysuckle bushes are all done with their blooms. I sighted these butterflies separately from each other along the trail stretch by the Town of Herndon (Fairfax County) and Loudoun County lines. Note: There is a Monarch Butterfly WayStation at the entrance of the Herndon Centennial Golf Course (I have not seen it for myself yet).
