I saw a monarch butterfly from my backyard at 11:35 AM on directional flight about 20 feet high heading SW for over 200 feet before flying over a line of trees that were about 40 feet tall. I then went to Harrisville State Park where I captured and tagged a female monarch that was a fresh red-orange. Tag is YGN-902. I also went to the end of 3rd Street and added another 4 monarchs. Weather was sunny and the temperature a humid 80F. at 2:30 PM.
