At 10:30 AM, I went to the Harrisville State Park and captured and tagged 2 female monarchs. Tags are YGN-903 and YGN-904. At 3rd Street, I observed 5 monarchs and tagged one female with YGN-905. One monarch was very faded and not tagged. The other three were bright and not captured for tagging. At Harrisville Harbor, I observed 8 monarchs and tagged one female with YGN-906 and four male monarchs with YGN-907 to YGN-910. One other monarch was very faded and a pair were mating. These were not tagged. Finally, I observed a faded female laying eggs at the Health Department. Weather was hazy and humid with the temperature at 75F.
