Who knew rabbits liked swamp milkweed. Yesterday, I actually saw a rabbit snap off one of only two stems left on one of my swamp milkweed plants and it ran off with the stem. Threw a rock at it to scare it away. Today I was rewarded...the only stem left had a 4th instar on it. The rabbit took the right stem. Never saw this caterpillar even though I've checked the plant many times.
