Sightings report image

Number: 1

Always have just one Queen visit the waystation every year and lay eggs. This year seems to be no different. Had my first Queen come and stay for a long time nectaring and then laying eggs. Every year, the baby Queen cats never survive past 1st instar, even if I bring them inside. I wonder if the tropical milkweed sap is just too string for the babies, just like Giant Pipevine is toxic to the Pipevine Swallowtails.
