Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 08/03/2018

Number: 2

From the third until today, August 16, everyday I've had 2-4 Monarchs in the yard, nectaring, laying eggs.... I currently have 48 chrysali (beginning Aug. 9), 13 J's, 16 5th instar,11 4th instar, 18 1-3 instars, and 2 eggs "in house", all but 10-12 brought in as eggs, hatchlings or #1 instars. Of note: nothing on incarnata or syriaca, all on A. curassavica and Gomphocarpus sp. Lost 2 hatchlings (1 injury, 1 black mold), one "J" tachnid flies. All others look perfect. Sorry for sloppy reporting... I'm "dancing as fast as I can" taking care of these, and am so grateful for lack of green puke, black death, or other heartbreaks. Praying daily for their well-being.
