The butterfly bush at the Wilkes-Barre VA CLC continues to attract Monarchs...today I counted 4 at one time but they are so active, going from feeding to chasing and feeding again, that there may be more. Two males and one female ID'd...I couldn't get a clear enough look at the 4th to determine its sex. Their aerial acrobatics are remarkable as they chase and elude one another. The vet residents and staff are enthralled....Good opportunity for milkweed and Roundup education.
