Redding, Ct. as of 8/17/18, I have 18 feeders hung, feediind 25 hummers. This is down from about 40 ten days ago, and includes 3 migrants. I am gradually retiring my remote feeders as they become empty or out-dated, so they can be cleaned for storage.

An interesting observation: when my population increased by about 20 new fledglings during mid-July, they were the ones that began nectaring at flowers and using my 3 bowl feeders. Up to this time the adults showed no interest in flowers or the bowl feeders. Only then did the adult males decide to include them in their "territories".
