High drama today as the 4 males in the pic were duking it out over the flower patch while 2 males in the back occasionally guarded 2 egg laying females but got more interested in dining than in protecting their ladies because the two ladies would occasionally duke it out themselves over egg laying rights...but bouts were brief as egg laying ruled as Job One. Went back to the front and found one more male. Why all the guys this year??
