At 11:30 AM, I saw a female monarch in my backyard and captured it. I put tag YGN-930 on it. I then went to Harrisville State Park and observed 6 monarchs. I was able to tag 2 of them. Tags are YGN-931-932. At 2nd/3rd Streets, I saw 3 monarchs flying in the fields. I went through town and observed another 6 monarchs. I arrived at Harrisville Harbor at 4 PM and 18 monarchs were seen by 5PM. I was able to capture and tag 3 monarchs. Tags are YGN-933-935. I went to the District Health Department ponds and saw 2 monarchs and captured and tagged one. Tag is YGN-936. Weather was hazy and humid with the temperature at 75F.
