Today one lone adult male Ruby throat migrated back.He tested 3 feeders,tried to sip. This is exactly a year later the coming week that We had 6 feeders covered with plexiglass squirrel baffles during hurricane Harvey,(2017)
I had noticed spring reports on JN asking "where are the males?" I only saw 1 male last spring come thru. The usual spring count is always 5 adult males,,,but not this spring.
I do hope the joy of seeing an adult male Ruby throat can be understood in today's report after going thru a hurricane called 'Harvey'
