Around 2pm on 8/20/18, we observed at least 35 monarchs flying from Southeast to the Northwest over Bay Harbor Lake -Yacht Club marina. As we walked away from the marina we continued to see at least 15 more monarchs following the same path over Bay Harbor Lake. The weather was overcast. Rain was predicted, but it never rained that afternoon. Not sure if this was a peak, as we just noticed that one day. We did see monarchs on the 18th and 19th as well. The photo was taken on 8/19 at a marina in Boyne City, about 20 miles from Bay Harbor.
