We were at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chanhassen MN for a couple hours and saw large numbers of monarch butterflies, mostly on Liatris ligulistylus, but also on sunflower, butterfly weed, and assorted other flowers. 100 is an estimate. There could have been more.
