I only have a couple of Milkweed plants in my flower bed and noticed about 8 Monarch larva last week, that were between .25" to .50" long. We had a terrible storm, with extremely heavy rain and high winds, after which, I could only find 4. This morning I checked again and there were 3 that were about 2" long and getting fat. I was very excited to see them!! A couple of hours later, just before leaving for work, there were two adult Monarchs fluttering around the plants. I did not have time to watch and see if any eggs were laid, but will take a look tomorrow morning.
