I found 28 monarchs roosting in our trees over night. I had to search harder this time. There were a couple of groups of several, but there were also individuals or groups of only 2 together. They were mostly on our maple trees, and mostly on the north to west side of the trees. They seem to be roosting higher up then they often have in the past.
