Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018 - The male ruby-throated, and female hummingbirds found and were feeding at the new feeder at 7:23PM.
As I spoke to them, the female flew over, and hovered a few feet away from me, on the other side of the porch screen door, and then flew to the nearby trumpet vine and fed, while the male flew to the Mtn. ash tree, and waited for her. They both flew off at 7:28PM.
Will call to them and watch for them tomorrow morning before sunrise.(smile)
